About Vividwireless Australia: Vividwireless launched Australia’s first 4G wireless broadband network in March 2010. During that time, it was Australia’s most advanced wireless broadband network using WiMAX technology. It redefined customer expectations of wireless broadband and what customers can do with it. In 2012, Optus bought Vividwireless.  However, Vividwireless continued to provide wireless internet services to its customers in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. 9th October 2017 we expanded our coverage by launching a 200GB plan on the Optus 4G Plus network.

Customer can now purchase a Vividwireless modem from the Optus website and stores. We now offer speeds in the 2300MHz coverage area of up to 12/1Mbps, increased from up to 10/1Mbps. If customers connect to other compatible coverage, download and upload speeds of up to 5/1Mbps are available. Actual speed will depend on a number of factors including congestion, location, local conditions, hardware, software and general internet traffic. Usage alerts have been changed to 50%, 85% and 100% instead of 90% & 100%. We’ve also removed the American Express card surcharge of 2% plus GST and the $10 delivery fee for online and telesales modem purchases.
